An out-and-proud British Chinese student JACQUELINE (15) is accused of hitting her classmate GRACE (15). Although Grace claims she was accidentally caught in the crossfire while breaking up Jacqueline's argument with HARRY (15), her father WILLIAM (50s) insists Jacqueline is guilty. Pressured, Headteacher KATHERINE (40s) vows to uncover the truth. But Jacqueline refuses to admit what really happened, as doing so would reveal her secret relationship with Grace. Grace, still closeted, distances herself in public, forcing Jacqueline to hide their romance when questioned.
