CGiii Comment

Off beat, quirky - call it what you will.

It's cheap and amateurish...with a great big heart.

Big issues are littered throughout: domestic violence, child abuse, racism, murder/self-defence...and, are all glossed over with make-up.

The flimsiness may have worked with a tighter script - it definitely is an experiment worth exploring that Kissam nearly pulled it off - that said, it has its moments and is a stoic example of the independent low-budget film-making ethos.
