After a weekend visit to a beach cottage with boyfriend Graham, photographer Carver Mendez comes to fear that he has inadvertently summoned the spirit of Laurence Hunt, a World War II veteran who died mysteriously at that same cottage, 70 years ago. Graham begins to suffer from increasingly severe headaches and Carver concludes they are the result of the spirit’s malevolent influence. On the advice of a retired cop-turned-medium, Carver is convinced that he must confront Laurence’s spirit in order to save Graham’s life. Laurence combines supernatural, suspense and romantic elements with a modern twist.
