CGiii Comment

After a decidedly shaky start and some highly inappropriate dialogue, 50/50 - thankfully - finds its feet.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a lovely actor to watch...which is an incongruous with the crude Rogen...he does, criminally, overplay his part.

The comedy is vulgar - exasperated by Rogen - and unnecessary...but, in between all these flaws is a touching, beautifully pitched, story.

And then...the subtext kicks in and Rogen can almost be forgiven...for it is a lovely film with a great big heart.
