A French beauty, Beatrice LeClerc, spends years infiltrating herself into the life, love and financial fortune of unsuspecting heir-apparent Stephan Barkley, in order to murder him, his sister and whoever stands in the way of inheriting their father’s massive fortune. This tale of deceit is told from the perspective of Stephan’s best friend – a quadriplegic writer confined to a hospital bed who can only communicate with computer assistance.
