Centro Niemeyer LGBTIQ Festival de Cine

Lgtbi cinema and culture will fill the streets of Avilés extending to the entire Asturian region. The seventh edition of the LGTBI Film Festival of the Niemeyer Center focuses its gaze, once again, on the vindication of freedoms and diversity in terms of sexual orientation and gender identity through cinema and culture. The contest will feature an official selection of eight feature films and ten short films that focus on the exploration of desire and new LGTBI affectivities, as well as on transitions and identity changes. Face-to-face meetings with filmmakers and guests are also recovered, whose realization was reduced in the two previous editions due to the pandemic.
