CGiii Comment

It has a certain something...it keeps you guessing.

And then, it gets a little stupid - the weird boobs.

There is a potential - it just needs to be reeled in.

The(ir) Blurb...

Sepulte "The Buried" is an experimental narrative film exploring the horrific hate crime from 2004 killing a young man in rural Alabama named Scotty Joe Weaver. Rather than re-telling the narrative of the crime, Jonathan Pope Evans explores the event in a different way, inspired by the film work of Lisandro Alonso and Alexandr Sokurov. The film acts as a meditation, taking the viewers into a dark and repressive "spiritual" space using sound design, time, and dream imagery. Surreal and taxing, the film has won international awards and continues to enlighten audiences at film festivals across the world.
