It really didn't need the 'experimental music' - but, an interesting look at what makes a photographer tick!

The(ir) Blurb...

This documentary it's based on reflections made by photographer and professor, Joe Ziolkowski, on the eve of a retrospective in 2016, spanning almost three decades, at the Q Gallery in Rochester. The vintage analog photographs essentially depict the bodies: those of the LGBT community between the ‘80s and 90s. The aim is to deal with the issue of loss and vulnerability following the crisis caused by the spread of AIDS in those years. The private dimension of the author, who has personally experienced this trauma, intersects with the public one of the great political and social unrest of the period.
