BATE CABELO! unveils the story of an artistic creation that became a living symbol of memory, embodiment, and resistance.

When Pantera stepped onto the stage of São Paulo’s iconic nightclub Nostro Mondo in 1990 and unveiled a dance move of her own creation, a whirlwind of body and head that sent her long hair into a mesmerizing vortex, she had no idea she was forging a symbol that would become central to drag culture in Brazil. Through intimate interviews and archival footage, the film traces its rise from a bold Brazilian expression to a global phenomenon.
