CGiii Comment

Definitely cinematic...the score is a full-bodied delight. And that, unfortunately, is all the positives.

The details of Lorca's murder are - still - unknown. This film is a fiction...and not a particularly clever one. Some may even say that it is disrespectful to Lorca's memory.

Historical accuracies are swept aside...Lorca's sexuality is practically ignored...the acting borders on the hammy...the melodrama becomes convoluted...enough! You get the picture.

Lorca deserved better.
