CGiii Comment

Basically, this is a two-hander - a very verbose two-hander!

Interest tends to wax and wane throughout...due to the agonising, self-inflicted emotional masochism that Victor allows himself to withstand - how much more can people take of the greedy bisexual who wants all of the cake, all to himself without a guilty blink of his cheaters' eye?

This cliché is as threadbare as an antiquated doormat - which exactly describes Victor - a sexual doormat [although not so antiquated - and, he's not too displeasing on the eye - in fact, he could probably get anyone he so desires...yet, he plumbs for a cheating, self-absorbed scumbag]! Aaah, affairs of the heart...more difficult to understand than Fermat's Last Theorem!

Matías De Leis Correa prefers to tell rather than show - which is odd - because, as an experienced music video director...it's all about the visuals! Show, baby, show. Way, way too many words...but, in all fairness, the actors do a remarkable job - there's the one you'll root for [bless] and there's the one you'll rally against [spew]...but, who will come out on top? That intrigue does keep you watching until the bless-or-spew end!

The(ir) Blurb...

Handsome and stylish Victor is reunited by chance with hunky David, his first love, fifteen years after the last time they saw each other. This reunion revives the clandestine love they had when they were younger. Victor could never get over the wound that David inflicted on him by disappearing suddenly from his life because he could not bear the weight of society. In this reunion, Victor finds himself with a David that is married to a woman, but nevertheless, they meet again when David can sneak away from his parallel life. Victor struggles with his own feelings knowing that every time they meet, might be the last.
