"Tremendous"

"Whip Smart Writing"

"Bold, Hilarious"

Were these reviewers watching the same film as we did?!? Because - babies - it is NOT - by any stretch of the imagination...hilarious!

This film is about dying...and, credit where credit is due...Molly Shannon steals the show (hook, line and sinker) - the only problem...she's not in it enough.

Instead, the focus is frimly set upon a rather grouchy, forever whinging, self-loathing, miserably-gay David...played with irritating perfection by Jesse Plemons.

Not a man you would want to spend an evening with...97 minutes were enough!

So...the question has to be asked: How autobiographical is this autobiographical debut feature? Because, Mr Kelly, your character really does come across as a serious pain-in-the-ass. Let us hope artistic license prevailed!

Our other major gripe...starting a film with the ending!!! Why?!? It becomes blatantly obvious what's going to happen in next to no-time...why diminish the impact of the ending by revealing it at the beginning? It makes no sense!

It sounds if we really hated this film...we didn't! But...it could have been much, much better than it is...it could have delivered an emotional wallop. Alas, it didn't!

All the actors did a credible job...but, Molly Shannon...wow! Watch it for her.
