CGiii Comment

As we all know, filmmakers love to jump onto the topical bandwagon...the result is - usually - a glut of similar films all saying the same thing.

Not the case here.

Ben Allen's film is intelligent and thought-provoking...as well as being devastatingly sad and chilling to-the-bone. Talk about turning-tables to get your message across...this is a supreme example.

Writing, acting, direction...all accomplished.

Simply...stunning.

The(ir) Blurb...

Fleeing the political unrest in his homeland and journeying through a broken Europe, a British man finds himself seeking asylum on the Turkish border. Desperate, and armed with only rudimentary language skills, he is intent on convincing the authorities to give him a chance at a new life.
