The End...
26 films watched, quite a few seminars attended, mingled with some notable names...all washed down with copious amounts of strong, sweet tea.
EIFF proved to be massive in scope and range...it definitely had...something for everyone.
From a press perspective...this is how you run a festival. Unrestricted access to all the films, a comfy place to sit and write, daily Press communications...and, none of those ludicrous press charges that some festivals have introduced...
Definitely, a festival for the people...and, for those starting out in the industry...the amount of student reviewers...staggering, encouraging and a joy to behold.
A special thank you must go to the volunteers, they were everywhere...helping lost souls find their films!
Thank you Edinburgh...a festival and city to be most proud of.
