CGiii Comment

Episode 1...

What is there not to like about Sean Hayes?!? He does 'Jack' and he does him well.

The witty script is patchy at best, at home with his mother - it works well. At work, it doesn't: Too many characters (i.e. 3) trying (and failing) to be funny and/or eccentric.

The 'gay' sitcom has had a tough time of recent...The New Normal & Partners being, quite understandably, cancelled...time will tell as to the fate of Sean - it needs a tighter script that's for sure. But, with Sean, what is there not to like?!?

Episode 2...

What is there not to like about Sean???

Oh dear...it's not looking good. The 'laugh track' is useful (albeit overused)...as it tells you when you are meant to laugh. Completely necessary for a script that has taken 'dumb' to a brand new level.

Episode 3...

It's time to pull the plug.

*UPDATE* The plug was pulled...deservedly so.
