CGiii Comment

10 years on...Fox revisits a story.

Knoller reprises his role - a little fatter, a little wiser.

It's not necessary to see the original film - it does help, for the backstory...this is grieving...for 10 heartbreaking years.

Knoller is composed throughout...his awkwardness, his shyness, his grief are all in his eyes...an endearing, skillful performance.

The pace is gentle...the humility is humbling.

This is not a rollercoaster ride by any stretch of the imagination - this is a gentle character study of a man who lost his one love, having surrendered to a life led alone...

Beautiful, touching and affirming.
