OGA Visual Art Exhibitions

First of all, please note that the topics covered for the new season of exhibitions will be only those concerning eroticism, sexuality, queer, fetish, etc... even with very explicit works, and without any censorship.

Born in 2013, the space of the OGA (Ospizio Giovani Artisti / Young Artists Hospice) organizes exhibitions with contemporary and modern art works that come exclusively from the Collection of the OGA. These works are usually donated to the OGA by the artists themselves in order to create thematic exhibitions that are a continuous reflection on the role of art involvement in today's society.

It's very important to say that the OGA was born with the ironic intent to exhibit only works made by artists over 35 years of age, in provocative opposition to festivals and institutions that seek only young artists. In any case in the occasion of the VideoArt Exhibitions this limit will not be fully respected. It is true, however, that artists over 35 years of age will have more chances to be selected, trying to respect as much as possible the primary rule of the exhibition space.

The selected video works will be screened in the upcoming group exhibitions of the season 2020/2021 of the OGA (but very interesting works could also be selected for the season of exhibitions already under way).

Please read these important before to submit works:

Video section:
- The videos will be projected sequentially on one or more monitors.
- It is not possible to submit video installations or videos for screenings in loop.
- The selected artists can also send one of their physical works of their artistic research (even if not necessarily related to the video), which will be exhibited in the exhibition where their video will be present. In order to be exhibited, the work must be signed by the artist and have title and year of realization. These works must be sent to the OGA at the expense of the artist himself and please note that they will not be returned. They will become part of the OGA Collection and can also be exhibited in subsequent exhibitions. Of course, the artist will always be notified of these exhibitions and will be able to see the documentation of the exhibition on the OGA website and on the corresponding page on Facebook.

Photo and Visual Art:
- The selected artists have to send the selected works. In order to be exhibited, the works must be signed by the artist and have title and year of realization. These works must be sent to the OGA at the expense of the artist himself and please note that they will not be returned. They will become part of the OGA Collection and can also be exhibited in subsequent exhibitions. Of course, the artist will always be notified of these exhibitions and will be able to see the documentation of the exhibition on the OGA website and on the corresponding page on Facebook.
